AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7532, CONVERTING THE BATANGAS REGIONAL HOSPITAL TO THE BATANGAS MEDICAL CENTER, FURTHER INCREASING ITS BED CAPACITY TO FIVE HUNDRED (500) BEDS

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Republic Act No. 7532, is hereby amended by inserting a new Section 1, to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. The Batangas Regional Hospital in Batangas City shall be converted into a medical center and shall hereafter be known as the Batangas Medical Center."

Section 2. Section 1 of Republic Act No. 7532, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 2. The bed capacity of the Batangas Medical Center is hereby increased from two hundred fifty (250) beds to five hundred (500) beds."

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
