AN ACT DECLARING OCTOBER 12 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GETAFE, PROVINCE OF BOHOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE "GETAFE FOUNDATION DAY"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. October 12 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking public holiday in the Municipality of Getafe, Province of Bohol to commemorate its founding anniversary and to be known as the "Getafe Foundation Day."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 17, 2008 and August 24,2009, respectively.
