Republic Act No. 10621

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FISH PORT AND COLD STORAGE FACILITY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SASMUAN, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Agriculture through the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA), a fish port and cold storage facility in the Municipality of Sasmuan, Province of Pampanga.

Section 2. The PFDA, in coordination with the local government unit concerned, shall formulate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.

Section 3. The Secretary of Agriculture shall include in the Department’s programs the establishment of said fish port and cold storage facility, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The local government unit concerned shall set aside funds from any available local revenues in an amount deemed appropriate for its operationalization.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
