PROCLAMATION NO. 603, April 13, 2004

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 420, DATED JULY 5, 1994, PROCLAMATION NO. 198, DATED JUNE 29, 1993 AND PROCLAMATION NO. 1907 DATED JANUARY 23, 1907, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE CAMP JOHN HAY MILITARY RESERVATION (NOW THE JOHN HAY ECONOMIC ZONE), A CERTAIN PARCEL EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED AT LOAKAN RAOD, BAGUIO CITY, ISLAND OF LUZON AND FURTHER DESIGNATING THE SAME OFFICE AND BODEGA SITE OF THE NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY


Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby EXCLUDE FROM THE OPERATION OF proclamation No. 420 dated July 5, 1994, Proclamation No. 198 dated June 29, 1993 and Proclamation No. 1907 dated January 23, 1907, which established the Camp John Hay Reservation ( now the John Hay Special Economic Zone), a certain parcel of the public domain situated in Loakan Road, Baguio City, Island of Luzon and further designating the same for office and bodega site purposes of the National Food Authority, subject to private rights, if there be any, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land Sgs-CAR-000072 situated at res. Sec "J," Barangay Apugan, Loakan, Baguio City, Island of Luzon, is Bounded on the W., along line 1-2 and SW., along line 2-3-4-5, by Loakan Road (30.00 m. wide); on the N., along lines 5-6-7-8, by Lot 15, Ccs-131102-000030 (port); on the E., along lines 8-9, by Lot 15, Ccs-131102-000030 (port); and on the S., along lines 9-1, by EPZA. Beginning at the point marked "1" on the plan, being N. 65 deg. 12’ E., 1089.06 m. from triangulation "BOYD" Baguio Townsite, thence;


N. 7 deg. 06’ W., 28.53 m. to point 2;


N. 53 deg. 50’ W., 99.80 m. to point 3;


N. 63 deg. 28’ W., 59.47 m. to point 4;


N. 43 deg. 50’ W., 109.19 m. to point 5;


S. 83 deg. 06’ E., 46.08 m. to point 6;


S. 86 deg. 53’ E., 14.16 m. to point 7;


S. 88 deg. 46" E., 162.84 m. to point 8;


S. 4 deg. 47’ E., 183.04 m. to point 9;


S. 89 deg. 13’ E., 25.01 m. to point of


beginning, containing an area of TWENTY ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN (21115) square meters, more or less.


All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: Corners 6-7-8-9 by G. I. Pipe 2" in diameter and the rest by P.S. cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 40 cms: Bearings True. Date of segregation survey on March 15 and August 3, 2001 executed by Engineer Ramon P. Dawas and approved on September 14, 2001.
