Proclamation No. 415, May 26, 1989

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 1989, AS “MUNICIPALITY OF DIGOS DAY” IN DIGOS, DAVAO DEL SUR

WHEREAS, the Foundation Day Anniversary of Digos, Davao del Sur, fall on Wednesday, July 19, 1989; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Digos desire to celebrate with fitting ceremonies this milestone in the history of their municipality;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 19, 1989, as “Municipality of Digos Day” in Digos, Davao del Sur. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-nine.
