PROCLAMATION NO. 411, April 23, 1957

DECLARING APRIL 30, 1957, AS WOMEN'S RIGHTS DAY


In recognition of the contribution of women to the economic social, and political welfare of the nation, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 30, 1957, as Women’s Rights Day.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.


Done in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eleventh.
