PROCLAMATION NO. 401, June 27, 1953

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 64, SERIES OF 1925, A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR HIGH SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES, SITUATED IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO.


Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 64, series of 1925, a certain. portion of the land embraced therein and reserve the same for high school site purposes under the administration of the Director of Public Schools, subject to private rights, if any there be, which portion of land is situated in the City of Baguio and more particularly described in the Bureau of Lands Plan-1040, to wit:

A parcel of land (as shown on plan Mr-1040, situated in Residence Section “A,” City of Baguio) bounded on the NE. by Harison Road (lot 104-C-portion, Bsd-1311-Amd.); on the E. by Harrison Road and Benguet-Kennon Road (lot 104-Gr-portion, Bsd-1811, Amd.); on the SE. by Benguet-Kennon Road (lot 104-C-portion, Bsd-1311, Amd.); and on the SW. and NW., by the City of Baguio (Municipal Park Reservation, lot 104-C-portion, Bsd-1311-Amd). Beginning at a point marked 1 on the plan, being N. 75° 01′ W., 170.16 meters from triangulation station “Happy.” Baguio Townsite: thence N. 39° 20′ W., 30.93 meters to point 2; thence N. 22° 03′ E., 218.38 meters to point 2; thence S. 30.° 55’ E., 92.77 meters to point 4; thence S. 18° 00′ E., 11.52 meters to point 6; thence S. 9° 11′ W., 8.83 meters to point 6; thence S. 30° 45′ W., 10. 03 meters to point 7; thence S. 44° 35′ W., 133.90 meters to point 8; thence S. 29° 28′ W., 26.43 meters to point of beginning; containing an area of 11,801 square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and earmarked on the ground by B. L. cylindrical concrete monuments; bearings true; declination 0° 10′ E.; date of survey, March 2, 3 and 7, 1953 and that of the approval, May 23, 1953.


NOTE? This survey is a portion of lot 104-C, Bsd-1311-Amd., Residence Section “A,” Baguio Townsite.”
