PROCLAMATION NO. 313, August 15, 2023

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 30 AUGUST 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE, PROVINCE OF CEBU

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 5519, which was approved on 21 June 1969, created the City of Mandaue;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 586, series of 1969, designated 30 August 1969 as the formal organization of the government of the City of Mandaue;

WHEREAS, on 30 August 2023, Wednesday, the City of Mandaue will mark the celebration of its 54th Charter Anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Wednesday, 30 August 2023, a special (non-working) day in the City of Mandaue.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
