PROCLAMATION NO. 284, July 03, 2023

DECLARING FRIDAY, 11 AUGUST 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR

WHEREAS, on 11 August 2023, Friday, the Province of Samar will commemorate its declaration as a province;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Samar be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR.,     do hereby declare Friday, 11 August 2023, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Samar.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
