PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 759 [Title D- Section 2]

TITLE D

SHORE PROTECTION

1. For the construction, improvement, rehabilitation, reconstruction, completion, including project preparation and the purchase of necessary construction materials and supplies of the projects summarized hereunder:

(a) Various Sea Walls	P23,665,000

Section 2. Miscellaneous Projects. The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary are hereby appropriated, out of the general funds in the national treasury not otherwise appropriated, subject to the provisions hereinafter set forth, for the purpose mentioned hereunder:

(a) For the maintenance and/or repair of public buildings, shrines, and monuments, including ground and outside installations: Provided, That, so much as may be necessary but not to exceed P1,000,000 of this sum shall be made available for the Malacañang buildings and Mansion and Guest Houses in Baguio: Provided, further, that P100,000 of this sum shall be made available for the maintenance of the Mabini Shrine in Tanauan, Batangas, including the salaries of the two caretakers of the Shrine who shall be the two nearest surviving kins of Apolinario Mabini	P30,000,000
(b) For the maintenance and emergency repair of existing flood control and drainage structures	10,000,000
(c) For the prosecution of pre-investment studies, regional planning, project pre- feasibility and feasibility stidies, preliminary engineering and other activities necessary prior to actual project implementation, including administrative services and training directly identified with the studies and purchase of equipment, materials and supplies as may be authorized by the National Economic and Development Authority upon recommendation of department heads concerned	P100,000,000
(d) For the prosecution of necessary detailed engineering of projects authorized in this and other public works measures, including detailed surveys, soils investigation, detailed designs, preparation of specifications and contract documents and other related activities that are necessary prior to actual construction, as may be authorized by the National Economic and Development Authority upon recommendation of department heads concerned	50,000,000
(e) For the purchase of necessary rights-of-way for the implementation of projects authorized in this and other public works measures as may be authorized by the National Economic and Development Authority upon recommendation of department heads concerned	100,000,000
(f) For water resources investigations, survey and studies, establishment of recording stream gaging stations of various rivers including publication, and preparation of water Atlas for the Philippines to be undertaken by the National Water Resources Council	13,000,000
(g) For the construction of ware housing facilities necessary for the implementation of programs of the National Grains Authority and other governmental agencies	100,000,000
(h) For the implementation of the Philippine Australian Development Assistance Program	P100,000,000
