EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 79, April 13, 1964

DESIGNATING THE RICE AND CORN ADMINISTRATION AS THE GOVERNMENT AGENCY TO UNDERTAKE THE IMPORTATION OF RICE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2848

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the Rice and Corn Administration (RCA) as the agency to undertake the importation of rice pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 3848.

The RCA is hereby empowered to enter into negotiations, execute contracts, borrow money from any government financing institution, and do such other acts as may be necessary in connection with the importation of rice.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-four.
