EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 541, October 28, 1952

REDUCING THE 1952 TAXES ON REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF CAPUL, GIPORLOS, LLORENTE, MARABUT, SAN ANTONIO, SAN JULIAN, AND TARANGNAN, ALL IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR.

The public interest so requiring, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 53 of Commonwealth Act No. 470, as amended by Commonwealth Act No. 534, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Finance, do hereby remit the 50 per cent of the 1952 taxes on real properties located in the municipalities of Capul, Giporlos, Llorente, Marabut, San Antonio, San Julian, and Tarangnan, all in the Province of Samar, on condition that all the unpaid taxes and penalties corresponding to 1951 and previous years and the remaining 50 per cent of the 1952 taxes shall be paid on or before December 31, 1952.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the seventh.
