EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 385 March 14, 1972

DELINEATING JURISDICTIONS OVER WATERWORKS SYSTEMS

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:

The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems (MWSS) shall continue to administer waterworks systems in the metropolitan and other areas as enumerated in Section 2(c) of Republic Act No. 6234, creating the MWSS, and such other systems still under it pursuant to the same law.

All other waterworks systems, including artesian wells, shall be under the jurisdiction and supervision of the Bureau of Public Works.

Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
