EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 272 August 24, 1995

AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 30 SERIES OF 1992, ESTABLISHING THE BONDOC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OFFICE

WHEREAS, the local government units play a vital role in accelerating the development of the territorial and political subdivisions of the Republic of the Philippines;

WHEREAS, to give meaning to this role, it is necessary to restructure the composition of the Bondoc Development Program Office to rationalize and make more effective the formulation and implementation of development projects and programs for the Bondoc Peninsula;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law; do hereby order:

Section 1. The first paragraph of Order No. 30, series of 1992, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 2. Composition and Functions of the Project Governing Board. The Project Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the Board, shall be composed of the Provincial Governor of the Province of Quezon, as Chairman, and the mayors of the twelve (12) municipalities of Bondoc Peninsula, the Regional Director, NEDA Region IV, a representative of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan of Quezon, a representative of the Congressman of the 3rd District of Quezon, six (6) representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), including People's Organizations (POs), the Project Director of the Project Management Unit and the representative of the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) HmbH), as members. The last two shall be non-voting members of the Board."

Sec. 2. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
