EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 262, September 24, 1970

ADJUSTING THE QUARTERS ALLOWANCES OF COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 90 of the National Defense Act as amended, in conjunction with Executive Order No. 4, S-46, as amended by Executive Order No. 10, S-46, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby prescribe the following rates of monthly quarters allowances for commissioned officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, effective this date:

Second Lieutenant (or Ensign)	P130.00
First Lieutenant (or Lieutenant Junior Grade)	P140.00
Captain (or Lieutenant Senior Grade)	P160.00
Major (or Lieutenant Commander)	P180.00
Lieutenant Colonel (or Commander)	P210.00
Colonel (or Captain, Philippine Navy)	P240.00
Brigadier General (or Commodore)	P280.00
Major General (or Rear Admiral	P300.00
General (Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces	P360.00

The Secretary of National Defense shall promulgate rules and regulations to carry out the provisions hereof.
