EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 232, June 28, 1949

CONVERTING INTO MUNICIPALITIES THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF ABORLAN AND BROOKE’S POINT, BOTH OF THE PROVINCE OF PALAWAN

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, and pursuant to the provisions of section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, the municipal districts of Aborlan and Brooke’s Point, both of the Province of Palawan, are hereby converted into municipalities under the same names and with the seats of government in their respective poblaciones.

The conversion herein made shall take effect upon the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of the councilors thereof.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of June, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-nine, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the third.
