EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 220, December 18, 1956

PROVIDING THAT THE VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS REQUIRED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 209 DATED OCTOBER 19, 1956, AND REORGANIZATION PLAN NO. 60 RELATIVE TO PUBLIC UTILITIES REGULATION AND LAND TRANSPORTATION SHALL BE TAKEN WITHIN SEVENTY DAYS FROM OCTOBER 19, 1956.

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Republic Act No. 997, as amended by Republic Act No. 1241, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby order that the various administrative actions required by Executive Order No. 209 dated October 19, 1956, and Reorganization Plan No. 60 relative to Public Utilities Regulation and Land Transportation shall be taken within seventy (70) days from October 19, 1956.

Section 34 of Executive Order No. 209 dated October 19, 1956, is modified accordingly.

Done in the City of Manila, this 18th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-six, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eleventh.
