READJUSTING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROVINCE OF SULU FROM FIRST CLASS TO FIRST CLASS-A

Pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered One hundred and thirty and in the interest of the public service, the classification of the province of Sulu is hereby readjusted from first class to first class-A on the basis of its average annual revenue during the three consecutive fiscal years ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and fifty-four, as certified by the General Auditing Office, in accordance with the graduated amounts established in section one of Act Numbered Three thousand seven hundred and ninety-eight, as amended by Act Numbered Four thousand two hundred and sixteen.

The classification herein made shall take effect as of July 1, 1954.

Done in the City of Manila, this 15th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-six, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the tenth.
