ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 166, February 22, 1969

CREATING THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR THE FIRST FAR EAST CONFERENCE ON AGRICULTURAL CREDIT AND COOPERATIVES

WHEREAS, the Sixth Far East Agricultural Credit and Cooperative Workshop, held in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 10-22, 1968, accepted the invitation of the Philippine Government through its delegation to meet in the Philippines in 1970, with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines serving as host country to the First Far East Regional Conference on Agricultural Credit and Cooperatives.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create an Executive Committee for the First Far East Conference on Agricultural Credit and Cooperatives composed of the following:

The Committee shall be responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and coordinating of all activities connected with the conference.

The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman and, for the purpose of discharging its functions, may create subcommittees as may be necessary.

The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, for assistance as it may need in discharging its functions.
