ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 108, February 13, 1968

DESIGNATING THE MEMBERS OF THE JOINT COMMISSION THAT WILL MEET WITH ITS INDONESIAN COUNTERPART TO REVIEW, UPDATE, REVISE, OR MODIFY ALL EXISTING BILATERAL AGREEMENTS WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING OR ACCELERATING THEIR IMPLEMENTATION AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES ON MUTUAL COOPERATION


WHEREAS, pursuant to Paragraph 5 of the Joint Communique issued at the conclusion of my State Visit to Indonesia, the two Heads of State agreed to form. a Joint Commission to meet as soon as possible to review, update, revise or modify all existing bilateral agreements, with a view to improving them or accelerating their implementation for the mutual benefit of the two countries, and likewise study and recommend ways and means by which their countries may be of immediate economic help to each other;


WHEREAS, the two Heads of State likewise discussed in the same Communique the desirability of formulating programs for mutual technical assistance, especially for increasing rice production, for cooperation in scientific research, and for the exchange of specialists, students and trainees, as well as of scientific information; and


WHEREAS, it is deemed urgent that the Philippine membership in the Joint Commission be constituted to sit down with its Indonesian counterpart to carry out the foregoing terms of reference


NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, do hereby constitute and designate the members of the Philippine Panel as follows:

The necessary expenses that may be incurred by the Committee in the performance of its work shall be chargeable to the Office of the President.
