ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 107, February 13, 1968

DESIGNATING THE MEMBERS OF THE PHILIPPINE GROUP THAT WILL STUDY AND RECOMMEND WAYS AND MEANS IN ORDER TO ENHANCE OUR ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION WITH THE GOVERNMENTS OF THAILAND, MALAYSIA AND INDONESIA

WHEREAS, pursuant to the agreements embodied in Paragraph 4 of the Joint Communique issued at the conclusion of my State Visit to Thailand, the two governments undertook to take positive measures to promote further their trade relations and to formulate programs for mutual technical assistance, for cooperation scientific research, and for the exchange of specialists, students and trainees, as well as of scientific information; and

WHEREAS, the Joint Communiques issued at the end of my State Visits to Malaysia and Indonesia likewise provided for the exchange of planting materials of improved varieties or strains of agricultural crops and superior breeds of livestock;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, do hereby constitute and designate the members of the Philippine Group to implement the agreements as follows:

The Philippine Group is authorized to engage the services of scuh technical assistants or personnel as may be needed for negotiations herein referred to.

The necessary expenses that may be incurred by the Group in the performance of its work shall be chargeable to the Office of the President.
